Artist Bio:

Dev was raised by wolves in the wilds of the Colorado suburbs and now lives in the foothills so she may oversee her kingdom, which currently consists of a human partner, said partner’s beard, an Appalachian Mountain Mutt (on the good days)/Appalachian Smooth Brain (on the ‘no thoughts, only vibes’, days), a Siberian husky, and the resident elk, moose, bobcat, mountain lion, fox, coyote, and other wild critters that provide daily entertainment in the yard.


She is also the spawn of two amazing humans who, 12 years ago, decided that Colorado wasn’t their gig anymore, and picked up and moved to Asheville, NC. Her mom - Bee Adams - is a professional artist who is currently in her architectural phase, giving the vibrant, impressionist treatment to buildings from her many travels (even if those travels are mostly to the local brewery for some live music and brews). John, yes, John Adams, is a photographer and retired business analyst (one of these is far more exciting than the other). Carrying on the artistic legacy is her big sister - a writer and bookmaker - and big brother who is an illustrator and cartoonist and portraitist and sculptor and animator and painter and amateur home renovator. Then there’s Dev, who has spent the majority of her life so intimidated by her brother’s immense talent that she just recently started the regular practice of drawing.


Dev fell in love with beer when the aforementioned life-givers were living in Belgium for the boring thing her dad used to do. She stepped off the plane and onto the Grand Place, where a waffle and a Leffe Bruin forever changed her trajectory.
